Hey Everyone! It’s not too late to enroll for the plethora of courses being offered as part of Enriching Scholarship week at the University of Michigan. Enriching Scholarship is a week long event that offers free workshops, seminars and demonstrations meant to enhance the repertoire for faculty and teaching staff. Enriching Scholarship is offered through the Teaching and Technology Collaborative. Some of the courses you may be interested in include:
- ChemBioDraw and ChemBioOffice: Professional Illustrations and Beyond
- Using the Beilstein/Gmelin Database for Chemists and Biologists
- Visualization in the Virtual Reality C.A.V.E.
- Cloud Computing for Collaboration and Presentation
And so much more. Seriously. What are you waiting for?
Hmmmm. Could I use any more acronyms? The National Center for Integrative Biomedical Informatics (NCIBI) Annual Research Meeting (ARM) has more information posted at their registration site. Here is the page for more information.
Also, the birds of a feather interest groups are listed so if you are interested in VisANT or usability, come and talk with your peers about it. I hope to see you there!
